October Card of the Month: Halloween Card

I’ve been postponing October’s Card of the Month for several weeks now because this has been such a hectic fall, I haven’t had any spare time to make any Halloween cards.  This week though, I found myself with an extra half hour one evening, so I decided to take advantage of all that time to make the quickest card I could come up with.  I knew it would have to be very simple, but I still wanted something cute.

I grabbed some orange card stock, cut it, and folded it for the background of the card.  Then I got out my pumpkin punch and my new fall papers from Stampin’ Up.  I punched pumpkins out of 3 different fall prints.  Then I stamped “BOO!” on white with brown ink and punched that out in the pumpkin shape as well.  I used pop-up dots to attach all 4 pumpkins in a row at the bottom of the folded card.  This was the result:

Even though it was rushed, I actually really like how it turned out!  Simple but cute.  And I’m happy because I still get to send out a few Halloween cards despite being starved for time!  So if you have literally a few extra minutes, go ahead and make some Halloween cards for your friends.
